Author: Sofia RiosMostly in the movies the cats are always being chased by dogs, but it is not always like that. Dogs and cats can get along, but only if they are both very delicate with each other. Getting Along Cats and Dogs will learn to get along, you just need to get them calm and pair laid back cats with laid back dogs. It would be better to get both pets at a young age so they could grow up together and get along better. If you already have an adult dog and want a cat, you should get a kitten or a cat that has been interacting with dogs. If you have a cat and you want a dog, it is best to get a grown dog than a puppy. It is possible to have both in the same room, you just need to train them to like each other. Difficulties Dogs and cats do have their difficulties, as in the movies, the dogs may chase the cats. The cat may hiss at the dog and cause the dog to be scared. Some breeds of dog don’t get along with cats, such as the Afghan Hound or a Weimaraner. They may harm cats, but on the other hand they make good family pets. Cats and dogs do have their differences. Cats like to sleep a lot and have their alone time, while most dogs like to fetch and rough play. Author: Rubi Rocha1. The nerves in your body try to find out what it is and it goes all the way to the brain. When the brain is trying to find out what it is, you take the slime and start playing with it. The same thing happens all over again, but this time the brain already knows that it is slime. Once you start playing with it, the nerves try to find out what it is (like the five senses). After they do that job, you already know what to do.
Author: Kaitlynn NguyenHello, my fellow learners. Do you know the top 5 rarest animals in the world? If you don’t, well you are in luck because as your fellow Zoologist, I have studied and researched these amazing animals. Most of these are so exotic, other zoologists don't even know they exist. Okay, enough explaining, let's get started. 5. Saola What is a Saola? Well, a Saola is a type of Ox. The Saola has another name which is called the Asian Unicorn. I know, it is a weird name! But the reason they are called the Asian Unicorn is because of the two horns that it has on its face and also because of the white markings. These creatures are found in the Annamite Range of Vietnam and Laos. There are only 100 to 750 of these creatures left. Most of these beloved creatures are going extinct because people use their horns for prized trophies. But, Saola is very important to humans because they get meat from Saola. 4. White Rumped Vulture The White Rumped Vulture is a type of bird, and since the year 2000, these birds are the most endangered in the world. In 1980, there were almost seven million of these birds but now there are less than 10,000. These birds like to feed on cows, but it causes kidney failure, which is the reason why they are endangered. These birds live in the Indian subcontinent. These birds have the un-coveted title of "Fastest Declining Bird Species". Ninety nine percent of the birds have been in decline since the year 1980. 3. Darwin’s Fox Darwin’s fox was named after Charles Darwin, who discovered these creatures in 1834. They live in Chile on the island of Chiloè and in the Nahuelbuta National Park. Darwin’s fox leaves its home between twilight and dawn. These creatures are critically endangered. There are fewer than 1,000 of Darwin’s foxes left. The reason they are going extinct is because of hunting. They are considered the “umbrella species” because they like keeping themselves protected. 2. Amur Leopard Amur Leopards are precious and extraordinary. Are you all wondering why they are called the Amur Leopard? Well, the story is that the names "Amurland leopard" and "Amur leopard" were coined by Pocock in 1930. In particular, he referred to a leopard skin from the Amur Bay as "Amur leopard". These fellow animals are originally from Russia, China, and Korea. But now, you will mostly see them by the Amur River in eastern Russia. There are only 60 of these creatures left and they run at a speed of about 37 miles per hour. WOW, that is insane. 1. Pika What is a Pika? A Pika is a tiny mammal that lives in a mountain called Tianshan Mountain in China and was discovered in 1983. You might think this animal is adorable, but you are WRONG. These creatures are dangerous and the reason is that they are unestimated. You don't know what they are going to do next, so don't touch them. These animals are only 7–8 inches long and love to live on sloping bare rocks. There are only 1,000 left and they are probably just going around eating grass on the beautiful Tianshan Mountain. The reason they are endangered is because of weather changes that force them to climb higher in the mountains. Thank you for reading my blog about these exotic creatures my fellow learners! If you see one of these animals, save it because it might go extinct. If you want to learn more facts about these creatures or learn facts about other rare animals, go to https://www.cheatsheet.com/culture/rarest-animals-in-the-world.html/. I hope you enjoy it. So long, fellow learners! Author: Nayomi ShihDholes are creatures similar to a fox or a dog. You can find dholes in Eastern and Southern Asia. They are very athletic and hunt in packs. They are rusty red, beige, or charcoal gray. Like most animals, the males are heavier than the females.
Like I said earlier, they hunt in packs and have 5-12 pack members, while a wolf pack usually has just six wolves in a pack. Dholes can even form super packs that have up to 30 members in a pack. They use team effort to hunt their prey and there is usually one Dhole as their leader. They communicate by sending a sound like an eerie whistle. The dholes in India eat hoofed mammals such as deer, wild pigs, and wild goats. The dholes in Southeast Asia eat deer, gaur, and banteng. In Siberia, they eat deer, wild sheep, and reindeer. The entire dhole species can also eat bugs, lizards, berries, and rabbits, so that makes them omnivores. The dhole species is slowly going extinct because of habitat loss. In 2008, it was recorded that there were sadly only 2,500 Dholes in the wild. People also trap and poison them because they think they are poisonous pets, but they aren't even supposed to be pets. People also destroy their dens. Imagine you're just living a happy life with your family. Then, someone destroyed your house to little pieces and called you dangerous. Next, they threaten to poison you and your family. Now think, what did you do that was so wrong? Nothing. As you can see, dholes are creatures that can work as a team, just like us. They feed on various creatures. They live in Asia and India, and they need to be protected. P.S: In my opinion, dholes are fascinating creatures. They inspired me more and more when I researched about them. I want to show the world someday that they are harmless and we need to protect them. This was before World War II started. Uruguay hosted the 1930 World cup and won the trophy. Today people still talk about how the trophy is made and this is what I’m going to talk about. The World Cup trophy is made of 18-carat gold with bands of malachite on its base. It stands 36.8 centimeters high and weighs 6.1 kilograms. The trophy was made by the Stabilimento Artistico Bertoni company in Italy. It depicts two human figures holding up the Earth. The current holders of the trophy are France, winners of the 2018 World Cup. The World Cup trophy is hollow. The Jules Rimet trophy, awarded to the winner of the football World Cup, was stolen in 1966 prior to the 1966 FIFA World Cup in England. The trophy was later recovered by a dog named Pickles who was later commended and gained a cult following for his heroism. The trophy costs an estimate of $20,000,000.
