Have any of you guys ever wondered what is inside a baseball and why it is there? Well, that's what I'm here to tell you. There are layers inside a baseball. Inside, the first layer of a baseball is the thickest and is a wrapping of four-ply woolen yarn wrapped tightly around the core. This makes the ball spin and not tear easily. The second and third layers are also woolen yarn but instead of 4-ply, they are 3-ply. Inside the middle of the baseball is the core. The core creates the speed and hardness of the baseball. One question LOTS of people ask is, "How do you open a baseball?" First, you look at the stitches, you cut it open, and DONE! I hope you all enjoyed my blog.
