Did you know that more than 85 percent of the Earth’s ocean has not been explored? This means most of the animals in the ocean haven’t been discovered. Hairy yellow hermit crabs weren’t discovered until mid last year, and a species of eels too. Scientists have recently found out there are more species out there than anticipated.
Blue whales are the biggest animal on earth. The eat krill and other small fish. Blue whales are mammals that can last several minutes under water. Hairy yellow hermit crabs are a type of crustacean that feeds on other fish and hermit crabs. They live in coral and rocky reefs, sand areas, and rubble areas. Most marine animals live off of oxygen that’s in the water but there are some marine mammals that still need air.
There is a vast amount of animals that are to be discovered. The water too, as most are still being learned about. The ocean only has a very little amount that’s explored but with the new technology that we have more can be discovered.
